Nine 1.25 hour sessions
Based on the second-level LEGO Education Prime kits and curriculum, this class provides an advanced level of engineering and coding with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving. It is appropriate for middle school students.
Working in teams of 2, students build robots that include a wireless hub, then, using a connected tablet and the LEGO app, use drag-and-drop coding to bring the robots to life. As the term advances teams are challenged to code their robots to compete in complex activities such as obstacle courses, soccer games, etc.

Classic LEGO construction meets robotics. Through 'playful learning,' students explore basic engineering and coding and build creativity, teamwork and STEAM skills. Each week introduces a fun new project using the LEGO Education Spike Essential kits and curriculum.
Students work in teams to build their robots, all of which include a wireless hub. Then, using a connected tablet and the LEGO app, builders use drag-and-drop coding to bring the robots to life. From Ferris wheels to snowmobiles to free-build battle bots, and infinite ways to code their movements, this camp promotes STEM skills and teamwork.
