Mondays, 3:15 - 4:30 pm
Jan 13 thru Mar 3 , no class Jan 20 & Feb 17
Based on the second-level LEGO Education Prime kits and curriculum, this class provides an advanced level of engineering and coding while continuing a focus on teamwork and problem-solving. It is appropriate for older elementary students, regardless of whether they’ve taken the lower level LEGO Robotics course.
The process is similar to the lower level class - teams of students build robots that include a wireless hub, then, using a connected tablet and the LEGO app, use drag-and-drop coding to bring the robots to life. The coding logic is more sophisticated than in the basic class and as the term advances teams are challenged to guide their robots through obstacle courses and soccer games.
